More About Me:

After university, I worked in the events industry for two years, gaining experience in event management, client relations, budgeting, and delivering projects to a brief.

I later spent six months travelling, which reignited my passion for the arts. On returning, I launched an arts blog, Cotton On MCR, championing Manchester-based artists through exhibition reviews, interviews with artists and curators, and coverage of workshops and talks. This soon led to organising my own art events.

After several years running pop-up exhibitions, workshops, and fairs across Manchester, I moved into the corporate art world, delivering creative workshops for businesses and high-end residential spaces across the UK. Building on this experience, I later opened my own contemporary art gallery, Neighbourhood Gallery, where I curated open-call exhibitions, talks, and workshops that created opportunities for artists to share their work and connect with new audiences. During this time I was also involved with the arts charity Venture Arts, supporting artists with learning differences.

In 2024, I relocated to Yorkshire. After working at Leeds Arts University, I am now Programme and Gallery Manager at South Square Centre in Bradford, where I also project-managed exhibitions and events for Bradford City of Culture throughout 2025.

Supporting emerging creatives is central to my work. I have managed internships and placements, been invited as a guest speaker at universities and industry events, and currently offer mentoring for students at the University of Lincoln and Manchester Metropolitan University, as well as through Arts Emergency.

I pride myself on being relatable, down-to-earth, and offering industry insight without the jargon.
